2018-Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular!
There are many places to celebrate the Fourth of July firework displays around South and Central Texas. I have compiled a list of towns big and small that will put on a fireworks show that you will not forget. If you are a big fireworks fan, then you will be about to catch a spectacular show on July 3rd and the 4th .
Seguin, Texas- Tuesday, July 3rd – 9:30 pm
Fireworks display starts at 9:30 p.m. The best views are from Starcke Park and the surrounding area.
Lockhart, Texas-Tuesday, July 3rd -8:45 pm
Lockhart is known as having the biggest fireworks display among small towns in Central Texas, and draws thousands to its annual celebration.
At approximately 8:45 pm (time subject to change due to weather) watch Sky Dive San Marcos who always put on a fantastic show that is sure to entertain the crowds, followed by a spectacular fireworks display at dusk for the citizens of and visitors to Lockhart. It is the LARGEST fireworks show for a city of Lockhart’s size in Central Texas!
La Vernia, Texas-Wednesday, July 4th-9:30 pm
The City of La Vernia is hosting the 1st annual Red, White and Boom with food trucks, concert series, craft vendors starting a 4:00 with a fireworks show at 9:30 in the La Vernia City Park
New Braunfels, Texas-Wednesday, July 4th – 9:15 pm
Festivities will kick off at 6:30 p.m. at the Landa Park Dance Slab with a free concert featuring J Abram Band. The sky will light up with the annual fireworks display beginning at 9:15 p.m. Residents and visitors are encouraged to tune in to KGNB 1420 AM to listen to the live broadcast of patriotic music timed to accompany the fireworks display.
Seating will be available on the Landa Park Golf Course at Comal Springs for fireworks viewing starting at 6:00 p.m. Fireworks viewers will not be allowed to sit on putting greens. Sponsored by HEB.
Schertz, Texas –Wednesday, July 4th-9:15 pm
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to Pickrell Park for a spectacular finale to Jubilee. Sponsored by H-E-B, the Fireworks show is scheduled at approximately 9:15 PM.
Boerne, Texas-Wednesday, July 4th – 8:00 pm
Feast your eyes on this magnificent, patriotic display. Sponsored by the Boerne Fire Department, the fireworks show will start a little after dark and can be viewed in many places around Boerne, but the best place is Boerne City Park. Bring chairs, picnics and your American spirit!
San Antonio, Texas-Wednesday, July 4th– 9:00 pm
On Wednesday, July 4th, 2018, bring the entire family to Woodlawn Lake Park and join us for the biggest and best party in town celebrating our nation’s birth and our freedom. Come to listen to the Air Force Band of the West from 7-9 pm, followed by The H-E-B Fireworks Spectacular at 9:00.
